Extended care is a full day program that encompasses 3 smaller programs.
The first is Before Care from 7AM to 8AM for students in Preschool to
8th grade. The main Extended Care Program is from 8AM to 3PM.
This program is for the children enrolled in the preschool, Pre-K and
transitional classes at St. Joseph the Worker School. Extended
Care staff works with the Early Childhood Program to support
developmental practices, provide quality care, and a smooth transition
from all programs. The third component is Aftercare from 3PM to
6PM for students in Preschool to 8th grade. Aftercare provides the
children a snack, freeplay, and homework time.
